Hello Self Defence zone!

My name is John and i am found myself in a situation i don't really want to be in and i'm going to have to learn to train myself in some good self defense practices. Here is the story so you all have some background and why i am worried. A little about myself, i'm in my early 20s about 5'5 maybe, only 130 pounds. I am quick and agile so i guess that's a plus. I have pretty small wrist that i'm sure could get broken easy, not much muscle, but i'm not scroungy either.

Now the situation i am in. I started dating a girl awhile ago, and things have been great but the problem is she has this crazy ex boyfriend. He joined the military a few years ago, has been to iraq, and back, then back to germany. The problem is this guy is a fucking asshole and doesnot allow anyone to be with his old girl. Now he is threatening to come kill me, and or kick my ass. I havn't done anything to make him mad, but i know he's going to try to fight me, and probably break into her house one night when he gets back. I know this is defiantly something law enforcement should get in on, but i don't want to make that choice until it happens. Which would be too late, but i don't want to mess with anyone's life if he turns out being all talk. (i'm 90% sure he's not though)

So the situation, He is a military trained 6'0 maybe about 230? Being he just joined the military 1 or 2 years ago i'm sure he's still all buff from basic training. Last night i purchased a stun gun known as "Blast Knuckles" that is a 950,000 Volt stun gun, build into bras knuckles, i feel this would be easy to sneak in my pocket and catch him by surprise whenever he attacks. I also purchased another pair of knuckles, that have a metal spike on them, that i can attach to my keys, in case i need that. I plan on buying pepper spray as well in case it is needed.

Now i wanted to know what you all would suggest i do, if it comes down to a battle. I feel confident in anyone else, but now some phyco who is getting out of the military. Do you all know how much dammage the blast knuckles will do? I know its about amps, not volts, it hasn't come in the mail yet so i havn't tested its power. I know i should distract his eyes and try to get a good nut shot, and if given the change a palm strike to the throat and possibly the nose. I just want this to be over with as fast as it started, and some possible scenarios where you all have been countered by an opponent and what you did to counter them. Also, but would be the best place to strike with the stun gun? Do you think pepper spray will take him out? I don't want to kill this guy, otherwise i would use my gun.

If he has threatened you, he has committed a crime. Demand that the police charge him (it's their job to do so when they believe that an offence has been committed), and tell them that you and your girlfriend will go on as witnesses. Obtain no-contact or restraining orders or both, as appropriate.

As far as weapons, pepper spray is a good one, but for ALL weapons, what matters most is that you thoroughly train how to draw and use them, and carry them in a way consistent with how you trained. Demi Barbito's material is good, as is Kelly McCann's.

Sorry to hear about your situation!

In what format did you get the threats? i.e. in person, telephone, email, letter etc? You must inform the police and show them any evidence you have...people like this guy shouldnt be allowed to bully others!
