Martial Art is different than self-defense. Someone who has mastered martial arts may be able to fight just about anyone but when it comes to a life threatening situation they will break down to the basics and do whatever it takes to win/end the situation. A situation usually is started and ended within a short few chaotic seconds. Those shorts seconds are confusing and most people will panic but with the right self defense moves anyone will be able to stop an attack before it’s too late. The most affective moves are the simple and basic ones that can be used and carried out easily with no delay or thinking. To successfully be able to defend yourself from an attack you must know the moves well enough that if it’s needed your instincts will automatically use the right self defense to end the situation. The most affective self defense moves are the ones that no matter the situation it will always be able to work. Everyone should be responsible for being able to protect themselves from danger. In the world today most attacks are against women because the thought those women are more vulnerable and won’t be able to protect themselves. Women are vulnerable to attacks but they aren’t always defenseless. Because they are seen as easy targets and predators scope them out woman who do not know how to, should learn to defend themselves. It is basic knowledge and practice that can save a life. Everyone should learn to protect themselves because the world is a dangerous place and a situation may be unexpected and it is best to know you can defend yourself.

These commercial links are grounds for post deletion, if not account suspension.
And seriously, aikijujitsu is of VERY limited value against a resisting attacker. It's a horrible choice for a newbie wishing to learn self-defence skills. _________________ blowjoblessons@gmail.com

Oh, and the writing on the first site is terrible, probably mainly because the ideas and reasoning are weakly developed in the first place.
Aikijujitsu looks the way it does because it was developed in the context of heavily armoured samurai trying to penetrate one another's armour (usually with a blade) or, failing that, using a takedown or joint break which would compromise their opponent in spite of armour. This is why their uke have such committed attack energies, which is what drives the art's movements. But these defences simply will not work against attackers in modern settings, moving as we do in runners, jeans, and jackets.
