I think all women should carry knives... I carry one myself ( though a man) and my business partner Beth doesas well. People argue against it ,saying "that it could be turned on you", but that's a big could. I carry a folding hunting knife that has blood grooves.

Yep. We both carry knives. Not only for self defense but handy if you are opening packages or need to cut down straws for the little one.

S&W "SWAT" tactical folding knife (for when out in town)
Buck 119 hunting knife (for when in my yard either mowing or working on my car)
As for my knife training, I took some Kali FMA and Close Quarter Knife Combatives.
