Some years back there were quite a few door stickers/decals of a type similar to "The owner of this home owns guns and is prepared to use them", or often more blunt and to the point. Gun publications were full of them.

Now I can't seem to find any. Can anyone point me to some source(s) of such 'deterrent' home defense decals?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Terry in Iowa

Try going to a sign shop that makes window decals for stores and I am sure they can make you the specific signs that you want.

Don't do it. A gun-related sticker or decal is just an invitation for a criminal to rob your home, knowing you have a gun. I would also avoid putting one on your vehicle. Safe those stickers for the gun safes and cabinets instead. Even I am a member of the NRA, GOA, and USCCA that I do not like to advertise that I have a gun by putting their stickers on my home and car.

-a dog
-timers
-alarms (sophisticated or simple/portable)
-safes
-personal weapons (guns/knives/OC/etc.)
-door deadbolts
-first aid kit
-alarm stickers are a little more ok than gun-related stickers, still an invitation though
-keeping curtains and blinds closed
-keeping doors and windows locked

Tuco is one of the few people on this forum that appears to NOT be a retard.

Thumbs up to him.

Thanks, man. Another sensible deterrent is having good neighbors. Since I am in the military, I pretty am nomadic and move every 3 yrs. Each apartment area I move to, I always establish good rapport with my neighbors and introduce myself. They might even give me an idea on what to look out for and what areas to avoid.

One more thing, just find a simple sticker that says alarm or something like that.
